KSL.com story: Brazilian Cab driver hands out copies of the Book of Mormon; Anxiously anticipates Rio temple

KSL.com featured that article I talked about yesterday. It was the story of an LDS cab driver. He keeps copies of the Book of Mormon (not Books of Mormon) in his cab and hands them out. He is anxiously awaiting the commencement of construction on the temple in Rio de Janeiro. It's a really sweet story. Made me cry when I was watching it last night. Click here to read about this remarkable man's story.

As an additional report, the Kinshasa temple construction has really taken off. Today, LDS Church Temples webmaster Rick Satterfield reports that waterproofing is being applied to the walls of the basement of that temple. I'm not much into building procedures, but I imagine the waterproofing is a pretty significant milestone in construction.

Will keep you informed on developments as they happen. In the meantime, thanks to you all for your interest and support.

Now the unexpected but welcome news. In a news story on KSL about the Rio Olympics, one of the things discussed was the temple announced for Rio. It was stated that the Rio Saints were looking forward to welcoming the commencement of the construction of their temple soon after the Olympics is over. I wanted to post a link to that story, but apparently it's not up online yet. I will keep an eye out for it and do a post about that later.

For now, as always, thanks to you all for your readership and friendship.
