First Presidency Announces Rededication Date for the Jordan River Utah Temple

Hello, all! I am posting with some exciting news. Today, the First Presidency announced the open house and rededication date for the Jordan River Utah Temple. The open house is set to run from Saturday March 17-Saturday April 28 (7 weeks), but will not be conducted during the time General Conference is going or on the Sundays in between (they will not be conducted on March 18, 24, 25, 31 & April 1, 8, 15, and 22). The cultural celebration will be held for this temple on Saturday May 19, and the dedication will follow the next day (Sunday May 20) in three sessions (being broadcast to those stakes within the Jordan River, Oquirrh Mountain, and Draper Utah Temple Districts).

For a while now, I have believed and was asserting that the Jordan River rededication would likely be among the first temple-related events of next year. It is nice to have that verified. I am looking into finding out more about all of this and will post with that later (adding it to this post). For now, you can find the article the Church News published about this here, and you can click here for the Mormon Newsroom report on all of this.

Thanks for the privilege of your time. I hope to be back with other posts later today. Until then, I wish you all the best.
