Updated Temple Information/Reevaluating Timeline for Temple Events Next Year
Hello, everyone! In view of the fact that the first three temples anticipated to be dedicated next year have had their completion estimates adjusted to mid-to-late 2018, and because that same time-frame has been listed for the rededication window of the Frankfurt Germany Temple, it is clear that I will need to reevaluate the potential sequence of events that might take place for temples next year. Just wanted to pass that information along, because as recently as yesterday, the Frankfurt completion had been anticipated during mid-2018. So it is obvious that there is much that we do not know about the potential sequence of events for next year. I will be doing some additional study on that as I can. Any comments are welcome. Thank you for the privilege of your time. Until my next post, I wish you all the best.
I have had a lifelong love for Church history, which has extended to ongoing reports of the ministry of our apostles and prophets, General Conference, and all temple developments. Church News Update: President Monson will also not attend General Conference
I reported Elder Hales' absence from General Conference a few minutes ago. This update confirms as well that President Monson will be absent from General Conference. I have before offered my opinion that President Nelson may be asked to give two addresses, and that seems likely. It will be interesting to see what happens with that going forward. Just wanted to note that. Any comments are welcome and appreciated. Thank you for the privilege of your time. Until my next post, I wish you all the best, and pray the Lord's blessings upon you all.

Elder Hales hospitalized; will not participate in General Conference
Hello, everyone! A question I considered earlier this week has now been answered: Elder Hales who, following a consultation with his doctors, was admitted to the hospital for pulmonary and other health issues, will not be participating in this weekend's General Conference. This story shares what his situation is. Based on that, I think it is a sure thing that President Nelson will speak twice. The only question is, in which sessions might that happen? And that will become apparent in the days ahead. Just wanted to pass that along. Any comments are welcome. In the meantime, thank you for the privilege of your time, and may the Lord bless you all in all that you do.
