Hello again, everyone! I wanted to post an updated version of my predictions for the upcoming April 2025 General Conference. Here is the revised speaker lineup, my revised potential changes in general Church leadership (which also includes my revised estimates for the 2024 statistical report), and my list of potential new temple locations. The information speaks for itself. The final version of these predictions will be posted at 10:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, until which time a commenting period remains open.
For my part, I continue to monitor updates from the Church News, Newsroom, and Church of Jesus Christ Temples sites and will be sure to pass word of those along to you all as soon as I learn about them. In the meantime, that does it for now. All comments are, as always, welcome and appreciated on any post at any time, as long as all such feedback is made per the established guidelines.
I hope any of you who would like to share anything will take your opportunity to “sound off” in the comments below. If you liked what you read here and would like to stay informed of newly added posts and comments, please subscribe for the applicable updates.
If you would like to support the work done on this blog, donations in any amount are always welcome and appreciated but never required. Thank you for the privilege of your time. Until my next post, I wish you all the best and pray that the Lord will bless you all in everything you do.
On this Saturday, the Church News has shared some observations about how churches can do more to help those struggling with pornography, seeing ourselves in family history work, the text of the message that will be given during tormorrow's "Music & the Spoken Word" broadcast, and how to replace doomscrolling with family history using microtasks. My thanks once again to you all.
ReplyDeleteA new Newsroom report on RootsTech's Family Discovery Day indicates that Acting President Jeffrey R. Holland joined Elder Neil L. Andersen both members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, along with Elder Andersen's wife, Kathy W. Andersen, were the featured speakers. My thanks once again to you all.

DeleteOn this Sabbath Day, the Church News has shared several updates: At RootsTech, Ndaba Mandela shared lessons he learned from his grandfather, Nelson Mandela; 17 stake presidencies have recently been reorganized; the top ten Church News updates were highlighted in "Week in Review: In Case You Missed It"; with this week's "Come, Follow Me" study centering on D&C 20-23, read what past and present general Church leaders have said about those passages; and the Relief Society General Presidency (President Camille N. Johnson and her respective First and Second Counselors, Sisters Anette J. Dennis and Kristin M. Yee) have taken the opportunity in the first three 2025 installments of the Liahona magazine to provide their perspectives on various attributes of covenant-keeping women (with Sister Dennis' insights featured in January, Sister Yee's in February, and President Johnson's in March). My thanks once again to you all.
DeleteThe Church News has shared two new reports on RootsTech's Family Discovery Day: this summary of remarks by Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and his wife, Sister Kathy W. Andersen, and this summary of remarks offered by Acting President Jeffrey R. Holland, also of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. My thanks once again to you all.
DeleteI failed to mention a couple of shifts in the temple construction queue in the last few days or so. While the Bacolod Philippines and Montpelier Idaho Temples are both anticipated to be completed in late 2025-early 2026, Montpelier is now ahead of Bacolod. Similarly, while both the Neiafu Tonga and Pago Pago American Samoa Temples are both still anticipated to be completed in early 2026, Pago Pago is now ahead of Neiafu. My thanks once again to you all.
