A significant temple milestone was reached today as the majestic figure of the Angel Moroni was hoisted to the top spire of the Tucson Arizona temple. This milestone is significant. In fact, Rick Satterfield, the webmaster of the LDS Church Temples sites reports that the temple is more likely to be finished late in 2017 than early in 2018. I will keep an eye out for all further temple news and post it here. This was exciting to hear, especially since I thought with the July apostolic recess, no temple news would be reported or milestones reached. I have never been more delighted to be proven wrong.
In other Church News, the Tabernacle Choir has continued its European tour. Please see this article and this article for details.
What an exciting time to be alive!

Important Temple Milestone Reached/Articles about Tabernacle Choir European Tour
I have had a lifelong love for Church history, which has extended to ongoing reports of the ministry of our apostles and prophets, General Conference, and all temple developments. This blog enables me to share that love with all who read my thoughts on these developments, which are sometimes reported multiple times per day as needed.
Further Personal Updates
Those following my posts lately will recall that, as part of my personal update yesterday, I spoke of the headaches I was having and a package that was lost. There has been a happy ending of sorts to both issues. I heard back from Dr. Weinstein's interim assistant today. She said that Dr. W. didn't want to change the dose of that medication without seeing me in clinic. So I will have to have a visit with her to make those changes. She does have a clinic date scheduled for next Friday, and her assistant is going to check to ensure they can fit me in then. I will hear back on that tomorrow.
In the meantime, two other personal developments have happened. I got a call this morning from John Allen, my former landlord, who told me that his tenant (who apparently is no longer his daughter) reported to him that several items have shown up in our name at that old address, including the package in question. She promised him she would be mailing those to our new address today. So we should be getting the missing DVDs any day now.
This morning as well, I also went with Amy to pick up my CPAP machine from Peterson Medical. The technician took time to go over how to use it and how to connect all the pieces, as well as information about what was covered as far as replacement parts and warranties go. I will use the CPAP machine for the first time tonight.
That's the latest from us. Thanks for your readership and friendship.

Temple News/Matthew Martinich reports on creation of new stakes
As per my usual tradition, I pulled up the LDS Church websites (News, Temples, and Church general website), and I just read some exciting news regarding the commencement of construction for the Fortaleza Brazil and Durban South Africa temples. According to the LDS Church Temple website, in Brazil, the building permit sign has been posted, and in South Africa, the site fence has been erected. I love living in this era when so much progress is being made on temples!
In the meantime, Matthew Martinich has posted recently on the creation of new stakes. To read these posts, click here. The information in that post suggests a strong possibility for new temples to be created in these nations. As a result of what I've learned from this post tonight, I may be once again revisiting my list of cities and nations ripe for a temple announcement. If I update that list at all, you can rest assured I will post a new copy of it here on the blog. Thanks to you all for your readership and friendship.
