Hello again, everyone! On this first Monday in November, the First Presidency has announced the locations and initial details for the Colorado Springs Colorado Temple (which was originally announced in October 2023) and the Missoula Montana Temple (which was originally announced in April 2022). Let's get right into the details:
We start with the Colorado Springs Colorado Temple. An 18.6-acre site on the south corner of Flying Horse Drive and Barossa Valley Road will host the single-story 45,009-square-foot edifice, along with a meetinghouse and a utility building.
For the Missoula Montana Temple, a 5.08-acre site at the corner of Old Bitterroot and Lower Middle Creek Roads will host a single-story 19,000-square-foot temple and an ancillary building. Both temples are larger than I thought they would be.
Stay tuned for updates from the Church News, Newsroom, and Church of Jesus Christ Temples sites. I’ll be sure to pass word of those along to you all as soon as I learn about them. In the meantime, that does it for now. All comments are, as always, welcome and appreciated on any post at any time, as long as all such feedback is made per the established guidelines.
I hope any of you who want to share anything will take your opportunity to “sound off” in the comments below. If you liked what you read here and want to stay informed of newly added posts and comments, please subscribe for the applicable updates.

Are you back? I hope you are feeling better.

DeleteI am back home. Just as a general personal note, in order to help me focus on my at-home recuperation, I have decided (for the time being) to only post my analysis of major news here. Anyone wanting to follow the latest updates from the Church News, Newsroom, Church of Jesus Christ Temples, and LDS Church Growth sites will find links to each of those sites in the sidebar. My thanks once again to you all.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad to know you are back! Been praying for you
ReplyDeleteThank you for that, Other Noah. I was touched to hear that people all over the world were praying for me. I'm grateful the Lord answered those prayers. Thanks again.
DeletePleased to see you back online and on the mend. Like many others, I’ve followed your health journey on Facebook and sent a prayer and good thoughts your way.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much
DeleteI had to share this: the Deseret Peak Utah Temple <a href='https://newsroom.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/100-year-old-prophet-dedicates-200th-temple" >has been dedicated</a> as the 200th temple of the Church by our 100 year old prophet. I have mentioned before that I think it's entirely feasible for the Church to have 300 temples dedicated by or before the bicentennial anniversary of the Church's reeestablishment (Saturday, April 6, 2030). With 100 temples needing to be dedicated in the 5.4 years between now and then, the Church will need to dedicate 18.51 temples per year. And I think that's entirely possible. My thanks once again to you all.
ReplyDeleteThe Church News also covered the historic dedication. My thanks once again to you all.
