Hello again, everyone! \As anticipated, the next major temple construction announcement has been made. This week, we got a groundbreaking announcement for the Tacloban City Philippines Temple and the confirmation of the site location (and exterior rendering for the Fairbanks Alaska Temple. Let's get right into those details:
The Tacloban City Philippines Temple will be the first to have a groundbreaking ceremony in 2025, Saturday, January 18, 20255, with GA Seventy Elder Michael B. Strong presiding, Other than the fact that next year;'s first groundbreaking is taking place roughly 9 days before the one-year anniversary of the first temple groundbreaking for 2024, I think we will have more groundbreakings next year than we did last year,
In reference to the Tacloban City Philippines Temple, it was originally announced in October 2021. with a site announced on March 25 of this year. Uniquely, this temple had a groundbreaking announced without the release of an exterior rendering. Not sure why that is, but I assume we will learn about an exterior rendering later.
We now turn to the Fairbanks Alaska Temple, originally announced in October of last year. The single-story temple of approximately 10,000-square-foot edifice will rise on a 7.59-acre site along Geist Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.. Aside from the note that this temple appears to be another modular one, I will leave it to others to comment on the rendering as they choose to do so.

Hello again, everyone! I failed to mention yesterday that the text of the prayer offered by Elder Quentin L. Cook to dedicate the Casper Wyoming Temple is now available. I endorse that prayer ws well worthy of your time and attention. The Church News also published reports confirming the Tacloban City Philippines Temple groundbreaking date and the Fairbanks Alaska Temple site location and rendering.
